Evernote is a program that allows you to create and save notes. The unique selling point to Evernote is that all the notes you create can be synced to across your devices.
Evernote’s tagline is “Remember Everything” and it delivers.
At first I thought I would use Evernote to make quick notes instead of using word documents or a note pad, Evernote is very good at doing this but it’s not until you start using it more that you realise how useful it is. Imagine having every note you’ve ever made in your hand and easily searchable with the touch of a button.
Recently for me Evernote became very useful helping me to organise my holiday. The checklist feature was the most useful as I was able to add tasks and then check them off when I’d completed them. Being able to add media to the notes helped to to keep track of what documents needed to be printed before flying.
Did I also mention that everything on Evernote can be shared with other Evernote users making group organisation easy. Other features include in-image searching for example searching for a word located in a image you’ve taken.
Why not give it a try at evernote.com before I start sounding like i’m being paid to tell you about it which sadly I’m not.
